About

Hello. I’m A’ishah.

A Malaysian writer in my late thirties, learning how to move through life with more softness. Taking my time with it. Letting things arrive when they’re ready.

I work with words. Outside of that, I live quietly. Reading. Writing. Paying attention. Gathering small moments that linger, arranging them into something I can return to.

This is a gentle corner of the internet where I keep pieces of my everyday life. Notes I don’t want to lose. Thoughts that ask to be held a little longer. Small stories, unfinished and honest.

Here, I write about becoming.
About choosing.
About creativity that lives in ordinary days.
About a life shaped with intention, not performance.

I believe in quiet growth.
In slowness.
In becoming without forcing.

Writing is how I make sense of things, one careful line at a time.

If you’d like to find me elsewhere, I leave traces in a few other places.

This space is still in progress.
So am I.

Thanks for being here.

  1. Nice to revisit you since Poets of G+! You just might become my source of inspiration… Keep doing what you so we’ll do!!!

    1. Thank you for stopping by. I wish you all the best in your current endeavours and keep writing! It brings tears to my eyes, remembering how we met through our late friend, Alvah.

  2. It’s been a while on this space! I don’t know if you still remember me, but I do remember reading your blog years ago. A lot of things have happened, our lives have changed (for the better, hopefully!) but it’s good to still hear from you xx

    1. Yes, I still remember. Thanks for dropping by! I visited your blog and am glad to see you’re still there too! <3
