Hi again (after so long).
I’ll be back to the office after my six months leave, this Thursday.. OMG.
As expected, I’m not so excited about it because I was actually planning to either extend my leave or resign my job. My problem is I don’t have enough money to survive now. So yeah, I need the job. Please pray that they won’t fire me upon my arrival.
My saving is at its last dollars and my earning from writing and hijab modeling cannot really help with that. Ugh, I have to admit that I don’t work hard enough for my writing career, and modeling for a rookie and awkward like me? Doesn’t pay much. I’m really happy that I progress a lot with modeling but let’s be honest. I’m not famous, not fair nor Korean-like – umm yes that’s what they like. Also, I’m already 30 and that’s old fyi. So, modelling on the side now.
My friend asked me if I wanted to buy new office wear for the first day of work. Ohh gulp.
Hello, hello. I’m a minimalist and the answer is obviously no. Hahah. Well, the main reason here would also be that I don’t want to waste my last money on clothes.
Counter-intuitively, my brother came yesterday and so, I de-cluttered more of my clothing and gave them to my sister-in-law. I’m happier and relieved now.
But, what am I going to wear to office this Thursday?
Let me think.
I have three palazzo pants though one of them is really worn out, ughh with threads coming out everywhere, so that’s out.
One flare skirt, and one long pencil skirt.
Four blouses, one knitted top, and one shirt.
Listing them down as I write this and I guess, that’s actually sufficient for five days of working. We can just repeat the same thing for the following week. Anddd I’m very sure I have enough hijab, I never worry about them.
Office wear – settled. Now, where is my staff card?
